SEASON OPENER

Haven’t been so active here lately, but here we go again!

New season just got started and I’m so excited about it…

First of all I want to thank my partners Sanaclis, Nokian Tyres and Loihde for supporting me this upcoming season, together we will make it a great one!
So let’s start with the pre season preparation. Once again we decides to head to Ushuaia, Argentina in the middle of august. Ushuaia delivered really good trainings both in GS and SG.
We stayed in Argentina 4 weeks in total and it gave us exactly what we asked for.
After Ushuaia we took a break of almost 3 weeks, so it meant back to the gym for a bit.
At the beginning of october it was time to head to central europe, because the World Cup opener in Sölden was getting closer.
We headed first to Saas Fee for couple of days, then to Sölden and Pitztal.
The preparation wasn’t only rainbows and sunshines. I was struggling a lot in trainings on the race hill, but I just kept trusting the process and focused on improving day by day.

On 25th of october was the race day in Sölden. I felt good going into the race day and I all wanted was just to deliver the skiing I’ve done on trainings.
I’m proud how I managed to be calm and confident throughout the whole race.
There’s a lot good things to take with me, still a lot of work to do…
As a result 22nd place, so far my personal best in World Cup.
Now I’m home having some days off before heading back to another block of training.
